Start of the new "ZRW-Lunch" series

Snapshot of the 1st ZRW Lunch: Lukas Theisen on crowdfunding in the cultural sector

Our first ZRW lunch took place today. The keynote speech started with the topic of crowdfunding in the cultural sector. Lukas Theisen from SUKURA e.V. showed how to find the right supporters for your own project. One valuable tip he gave participants was that the success of such projects is always linked to emotions. He also made it clear that initiating a crowdfunding campaign can also be a tool for gaining new insights into your own project. Lukas Theisen can draw on his own experience in this area, as SUKURA e.V.

ZRW Lunch

Networking, exchanging ideas and finding potential cooperation or project partners are some of the most important aspects of our association's work.

With this in mind, we would like to offer our members a format where they can get to know other members and partners of our association without having to spend a lot of time at work or from their home office.

The ZRW Lunch is a monthly online meeting to which all our members are cordially invited. The following points are planned for each meeting:

13. Wirtschaftsge(h)spräch [Business Talk] - POSTPONED

NOTE: Unfortunately, the planned business talk at Donnersberg cannot take place on 31.01.2024. The new date with the same program will be announced soon.

The Donnersberg has a very special atmosphere, and not just when it snows in winter. Even the Celts knew how to make the most of the impressive view from the highest mountain in the Palatinate. Together with you - "in the Palatinate at the very top" - we would like to broaden our perspective and discuss new ways of promoting tourism.

3. Wirtschaftstreff Westpfalz

For our 3rd Wirtschaftstreff Westpfalz, we invite you to get to know the chocolate side of our region. Since its foundation in 1957, the family-owned company WAWI has developed from a small food producer to an international player in the confectionery industry - with production sites from Canada to Pirmasens. The 140 employees at the two sites in our region take care of the development of new products in addition to production and administration.

12. Wirtschaftsge(h)spräch [Business Talk]

The West Palatinate economy is characterized by countless medium-sized companies that successfully hold their own against their competitors. The basis for this is good entrepreneurship: the courage to take calculated risks, the assumption of responsibility and motivating leadership.

Together with you, we would like to get to know entrepreneurs in the southwesternmost corner of our region who succeed with the support of an international workforce. The openness towards other cultures and the human interaction with each other is the basis for this.

Retroposters

Who doesn't know them: the postcards and posters with retro motifes in the style of the 1920s from popular cities and vacation spots around the world. So here's what we thought: Why shouldn't there be such for the West Palatinate as well?

The idea: There is to be a poster for each of the four counties and three independent cities in the West Palatinate. The posters are being designed by a very talented illustrator from Portugal, who has implemented all our ideas wonderfully and uniquely so far.

ZRW Summer Party

After a successful 10th anniversary celebration last year, we invite our association members as well as all others interested in our association for a summer party on July 14 starting at 5:00 pm. This time we will go to the House of Sustainability [Haus der Nachhaltigkeit] at Johanniskreuz in Trippstadt.
