Within the framework of the expansion of the ZRW online offerings, the West Palatinate media library was founded in 2015. Here, high-quality materials (images, videos, presentations, blocks of texts, statistics, cards, etc.) are made available to ZRW members. In this way, the members are supported when promoting and depicting the location of their business, municipality, etc., as well as the West Palatinate region. In addition, the creation of a corporate identity for the West Palatinate is supported and the image of the region improved through the consequent use of high-quality materials.

Photos of characteristic West Palatinate locations were commissioned or taken from the collections of West Palatinate photographers. In addition, in 2015, there was a photography competition which, on the one hand, made us more aware of the beauty around us, and on the other, was to help discover hidden photography talents. This was a huge success: within four months, over 300 photographs were submitted, including a number of excellent photographs that could subsequently be purchased. A jury chose the three best entries, which were awarded attractive prizes.
