West Palatinate free time portal
In the West Palatinate, there is more happening than many people think! One reason for this: it isn't always easy to gain an overview of what is going on.
With the goal of giving residents of the West Palatinate and visitors to the region a comprehensive overview of the offers, as well as reducing the effort for information management and the dissemination of information for restauranteurs, event planners and communities, in mid-2013, ZRW Mitte initiated the construction of the "CityKit" app as a regional free time portal. It also supported the project financially in the development phase until mid-2016. There had been an earlier bid process with multiple providers.
CityKit offers information on restaurants, bars and pubs, cultural institutions and events, shopping facilities, etc. – available at the site www.citykit.de as well as on your mobile, with an app of the same name.
