The project Pro Fachkraft [Pro Skilled Workers] examined the question of what requirements (future) workers had for their employers and how satisfied the employees of six selected businesses were with their employer. On the basis of talks with businesses, schools and universities of applied sciences in the region, management developed a model for an evaluation system for attractive employers. At the end of the project, the Pro Fachkraft seal of approval was granted to the participating businesses. With it, the certified businesses can also present themselves to the outside as an attractive employer for potential skilled workers. With the feedback from employees and experts, they can now work towards improvements in order to continue to improve their attractiveness to sought-after skilled workers.

Six businesses from various industries located in Pirmasens took part: psb intralogistics GmbH, Kömmerling Chemische Fabrik GmbH, FWB Kunststofftechnik GmbH, Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V., WHG Rahn GmbH and CAMPUS Wellness & Sports GmbH. ZRW was on the steering committee, along with additional actors from the region.

Since the end of the model phase, the project has been continued independently by the Wirtschaftsförderung Pirmasens [Business Development Pirmasens] and Anschütz personnel management. We will be supporting the bus advertising for the project in 2018-2020.
