Our first ZRW lunch took place today. The keynote speech started with the topic of crowdfunding in the cultural sector. Lukas Theisen from SUKURA e.V. showed how to find the right supporters for your own project. One valuable tip he gave participants was that the success of such projects is always linked to emotions. He also made it clear that initiating a crowdfunding campaign can also be a tool for gaining new insights into your own project. Lukas Theisen can draw on his own experience in this area, as SUKURA e.V. launched a crowdfunding campaign last year with the aim of creating a space for creative and cultural professionals in Kaiserslautern.

Three of our members also had the opportunity to present themselves and their work. The Docu Center Ramstein, represented by Museum Director Mario Aulenbacher, SCHAUMLöFFEL engineering GmbH, represented by the new Managing Director Uwe Bormann, and the Senior Experten Service – VerA, represented by Regional Coordinator Klaus Zimmermann, were present today.

As the ZRW office, we also wanted to provide members with the latest information and so our Managing Director, Dr. Hans-Günther Clev, gave a brief overview of the activities planned for the new year. Among other things, he addressed the topics of expanding cooperation, project networking, Solidarity West Palatinate and West Palatinate International.
