Vacationing at home is a trend in Germany. Aspects of sustainability are playing an increasingly important role. What is sought after is a relaxing vacation in harmony with nature and the landscape.

Thanks to its comparatively intact natural landscape, the West Palatinate region has the best prerequisites for developing attractive offers in the field of sustainable tourism and in this way contributing to regional value creation, especially in sparsely populated parts of the region - such as the Old World.

We would like to discuss with you how the West Palatinate can become a pioneer region in sustainable tourism. Among other things, this raises the question of how environmentally friendly mobility can be made possible and how additional accommodations and leisure activities can be created that follow the idea of sustainability.
