For our 3rd Wirtschaftstreff Westpfalz, we invite you to get to know the chocolate side of our region. Since its foundation in 1957, the family-owned company WAWI has developed from a small food producer to an international player in the confectionery industry - with production sites from Canada to Pirmasens. The 140 employees at the two sites in our region take care of the development of new products in addition to production and administration.

At the production site in Münchweiler, you will gain an insight into the modern production facility that will be completed in 2020. At the WAWI Chocolate World in Pirmasens, which reopened a year ago, you will learn how much handwork goes into the company's products and what role "mug melts" and the Superbowl play in opening up new markets. As always, you will have the opportunity to make new contacts and have good conversations at the concluding networking event.

Participation is free of charge, but the number of participants is limited. Please understand that each institution/company can therefore register a maximum of two people for the Wirtschaftstreff. It is possible to participate only in the second part of the event.

The Wirtschaftstreff Westpfalz is a joint event series of the ZukunftsRegion Westpfalz (ZRW) and the IHK Pfalz. With this format, we would like to offer you the opportunity twice a year to gain insight into the activities of special companies from the West Palatinate region, to establish contacts and to find possible cooperation partners.
