Project Waste2Value starts

The West Palatinate as a pioneer of biotechnological recycling

In June we had already reported on the successful project application, since September 1 we are now in the conception phase of the BMBF funding program "WE! - Change through Innovation in the Region" together with the University of Kaiserslautern and the PFI from Pirmasens. With the project Waste to Value (W2V) we want to lay the foundation to make the West Palatinate one of the pioneer regions in the field of biotechnological recycling. Over the next few months, we will be looking for companies who would like to become part of this development. If the implementation phase of the program is successfully completed, up to 16 million euros in funding for development projects can be expected from September 2021.

The alliance Waste to Value cordially invites you to the kick-off event at the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern at the Pirmasens site on 05.10.2020 at 10 a.m. During the approximately two-hour event, we, together with the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern and the PFI Pirmasens, will present the main features of the project, report on the current status and talk to you about a joint, future approach.
